The client : Sofrat

Sofrat is an independent, human-scale engineering consultancy firm, founded in 1982 and specialized in the building and construction sectors.

Today, the company is a recognized player in providing highly qualified professionals for the oil & gas, energy, construction, and transport industries.

To meet the demands of its clients and provide the best possible support, Sofrat focuses not only on engineering expertise but also on high-quality transversal roles, such as document management and project assistance.

The challenge: modernizing an outdated website and strengthening the brand identity

Sofrat’s previous website had become outdated and lacked a visual identity consistent with its positioning.

It no longer reflected the company’s expertise in construction engineering and did not provide a strong online presence.

In addition, Sofrat wanted to facilitate recruitment by posting job offers online and allowing candidates to submit their CVs and contact information directly through the website.

Naes’ solution: a complete redesign under Drupal

Naes completely redesigned Sofrat’s online presence by developing a responsive, modern website powered by the Drupal CMS.

The project also integrated the brand’s refreshed visual identity and provided advanced recruitment features.

The new site includes:

  • A responsive design optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • A custom back-office allowing easy management of all site content (header, footer, sections) by non-technical staff.
  • A simplified admin dashboard for intuitive use, even by Drupal beginners.
  • An integrated job application system, enabling candidates to submit their CVs and details directly online.
  • A job management module allowing Sofrat to post, unpublish, and categorize job offers.
  • Onboarding & training for internal teams, with a complete user guide for HR (job offers) and for web administrators (content management).

Follow-up: maintenance and continuous improvements

After the launch, Sofrat continued working with Naes through a Naes Support maintenance contract, covering:

  • Corrective maintenance: prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Technical assistance: responsive support for questions and adjustments.
  • Evolutionary maintenance: adding new features as business needs evolve.

This ensures that the website remains secure, efficient, and in line with the company’s ongoing developments.
